Eastbourne Wedding

I have known Laurie since we were 11 years old starting school. So to say we go way back is a fair statement. After school however we went out separate ways and didn’t see each other for many years, until he and Charlotte asked me to be their wedding photographer. Which as always, is an absolute honour.

They really are a wonderful couple, always there for each other and enjoying their little adventures in life together. Just the way it should be.

They had their ceremony at The Grand in Eastbourne, the venue lives up to its name being the only 5 star hotel on the English seaside. It was a great venue and allowed us to take a quick hop down to the beach for a little walk. Fortunately, the weather was pretty good. In fact it was the only dry day in the last week!

It was then a short trip along the seafront to the Crown and Anchor for their evening reception full of friends and family. Everyone there was having a great time, loving the indie music (myself included) and cutting some shapes on the dance floor.

A brilliant day at the seaside for this amazing couple and the start of their married life together. I’m sure Laurie has been forgiven for his mention of Lee Bowyer from Charlton being the love of his life during his speech by now…
