I absolutely LOVE this photo for a number of reasons. Firstly, because I waited patiently for the bridal party to be ready to leave for the ceremony and after 15 minutes I wondered what was going on…Secondly, from the moment I saw the stairs I knew I wanted to capture Vikki walking down them in her dress…And finally, because Vikki and Chris love this photo.

It’s a fairly big moment in the lead up to the ceremony. The bride making her way to the aisle. I love how the light pours through the window. How Vikki’s nephew had run ahead and was looking back and up the stairs to see his lovely aunt making her way down. I love how the bannister creates an inverted frame and guides your gaze down seeing all of these moments.
